Happy are the painters, for they shall not be lonely. Light and color, peace and hope, will keep them company to the end of the day. -Winston Churchill

From 2005-2012 I took a break from teaching and worked at LLBean and Arlington Metaphysical Church, During that time I worked on my own art, taking classes and producing paintings, drawings and collages, and developing a website.
Art is a making of something from nothing, a validation that something inside me lives without apology for who I am. It is creativity, ever flowing for everyone and anyone who chooses to plug in and become electrified. It is the Great Creator sharing with His created, the gift of being creative and like Him.
My personal art has served to make connections with the inner landscape. It is when I am creative and engaged that I feel alive and can find meaning to this journey of life unfolding.
What this means practically is that when I come to the canvas, clay or paper, I find a purpose within myself to see more clearly that which is happening in and around me. I have the opportunity to find a voice for my expression, to give it form and to share it.
