Make Art with Miss Jean / Focus on watercolor techniques and their uses in art
This pre-recorded lesson is one of my favorite lessons and has been a winner over and over with students, and adults in the classroom.
Ten of the most fun watercolor techniques you will want to use over and over again for making gifts, folders, cards, gift tags, table topers, mobiles and artwork.
Each technique is explained and demonstrated in detail so you get the results you want. Listen to the technique in each segment and then explore the steps and process to your hearts content before moving on to another technique.

Materials needed:
- prang watercolor set (not the washable kind) or any watercolors tested to see if there is good color saturation.
- strathmore 300 series watercolor pad ) cut into 3" x 4" rectangles (about 5-10 each student each class)
- extra watercolor brushes
- bubble wrap
- plastic wrap
- water container
- rubbing alcohol
- salt
- tape
- straw
- lemon juice or citrus spray cleaner
- Toothpicks
- Q-tips
- newspapers for setting up
